1. About WorkMe

WorkMe is a U.S. marketplace and work-management platform that connects clients (homeowners and businesses seeking services) with contractors (local service businesses). WorkMe provides job posting, proposals, scheduling, messaging, and outreach tools through its website at workme.pro and the WorkMe iOS app.

WorkMe is operated by Andrzej Lechowicz, DBA WorkMe, a sole proprietorship. WorkMe is a technology platform—not an employer, general contractor, or staffing agency. Learn more in our What is WorkMe? guide.

2. What this SMS program is

When a WorkMe user (homeowner/client) finds a local service business and taps to request a quote, WorkMe may send a single transactional SMS to that business’s listed phone number on the user’s behalf. The message includes job details and may include a secure link to respond on workme.pro (example intake page).

These messages are:

  • User-initiated — sent only after a homeowner selects a specific business in the app;
  • One-to-one — not bulk marketing, not lead resale, and not affiliate traffic;
  • Transactional / customer care — related to a specific quote or service request.

WorkMe does not add businesses to a marketing list without a user action. Recipients who do not wish to receive future WorkMe quote-request texts may opt out at any time.

3. How you opt in

Primary opt-in (digital, in-app):

  1. A homeowner creates a WorkMe account and agrees to the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
  2. The user searches for and selects a local service business in the WorkMe app.
  3. The user taps to send a quote request, which triggers one SMS from +1 (480) 591-8810 to that business’s phone number on file.

By listing a business phone number publicly or on third-party directories that WorkMe surfaces, the business may receive an initial quote-request message when selected by a user. Reply STOP to decline future WorkMe quote-request messages.

Re-subscribe: If you previously opted out, you may reply START or YES to allow future WorkMe quote-request messages again.

4. Message frequency

Message frequency varies. You will typically receive one SMS per user-initiated quote request when a homeowner contacts you through WorkMe. Volume depends on how often users select your business. This program is not a recurring promotional subscription.

5. Message and data rates

Message and data rates may apply. Check with your mobile carrier for details about your text and data plan.

6. How to opt out (STOP)

Reply STOP, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END, or QUIT to any WorkMe message to opt out of future WorkMe quote-request SMS.

After opting out, you will receive a confirmation message and will not receive further WorkMe quote-request texts unless you re-subscribe by replying START.

7. Help (HELP)

Reply HELP to any WorkMe message for assistance, or contact:

  • Email: hello@workme.pro
  • Support: workme.pro/support

8. Terms and privacy

Use of the WorkMe platform and these SMS messages is subject to our full legal terms:

  • Terms of Service (including Section 11 — Communications and SMS Terms)
